Motocross World Championship held at Jerez track

In 1992, Circuito de Jerez was the first in building a motocross track inside a permanent speed circuit; taking advantage of the peculiar surroundings of the circuit, the off road track was created in the hills which encircle the Dry Sack, Aspar and Angel Nieto corners. All the experts in the matter has no doubt that it was one of the best and most spectacular motocross tracks in the world.

Jerez organized the World Championship in classes 125cc and 250cc as well as national and regional events. But the milestone in the lifetime of this track was the celebration of the Motocross of the Nations which was held in Spanish land after 50 years of history.
